Hi, I'm Rory from eSpares and in this video, I'm going to show you how to replace an internal hose assembly on a Dyson DC04.
Now this part sits underneath the vacuum like that and can quite easily become cracked or split and, if it does, it will result in a loss of suction.
Now I need to turn the vacuum over, so I'm just going to remove the cyclone and bin, and these filter parts, so I have a flat surface to rest the vacuum on. As you can see here, here's the original internal hose. One thing is very important, this screws out and this pulls off and you must pull this off first before you unscrew the old part, and that just comes off by turning clockwise.
Now I can just put on the new part in reverse order. You've got to screw it on first so just get it in like that, turn anticlockwise this time, this can be a bit fiddly but there you go. Turn it anticlockwise, there you go that's on and now, I just need to fit this end by pushing down.
There you go, you've fit an internal hose easy as that.
Thanks for watching.
