What You Will Need:
Step 1 - Basket Removal
To begin, the first thing you need to do is to remove the actual baskets out of the dishwasher. Do this is simple - the upper basket will have rail clips at the end of the runner ends, open these to allow the upper basket to slide out.
The lower basket simply lifts out - however remember to also remove the cutlery basket as you don’t want to be replacing this as well.
The wheels are made with two clips - the fit either side of the bar the wheel sits on and ensures that the wheel can remain secure and won’t fall off unexpectedly.
Step 2 - Replacing The Wheels
With space to work - set your basket down. Now using a flat headed screwdriver you need to remove the wheels from the basket.
Fiddly but simple, using the screwdriver - insert it between the two clips and twist ensuring both clips open at the same time. Once the clips are open the wheel will release, pulling on the wheel while twisting the clips will allow the wheel to come away from the basket.
Don’t Forget when you put the upper basket back don’t forget to close the runner ends or else your basket may also require replacing if it ends up on the floor.
The lower basket is the exact same procedure - again it can be little tricky but with your screwdriver and patience it can be achieved and before you know it you’ll have some new wheels fitted onto your dishwasher baskets.
