If your drum paddle has broken inside your machine, don’t worry as eSpares can help.
It is common for the paddles (otherwise known as lifters) to break over time - and as a result, this can lead to your clothes being damaged during the cycle.
With our helpful guide, we can have your washing machine working as good as new.
Three drum paddles or lifters are usually located inside the drum and provide agitation for the clothes as it rotates.
Hotpoint/Indesit or Creda branded washing machines have three types of lifters, and in this eSpares video we explain the differences between them - and show you how to visually match the type that you need.

Step 1: Identify the Model number
To identify the correct drum paddle you need to ensure that you use the model details from your machine, the easiest way to do that is by searching for your model number on the eSpares website - your model number can be found on the inside of the door or around the back of the washing machine.
Now you need to ensure that you choose the right lifter for your machine otherwise it simply will not fit.
Step 2: Identify the Model Differences
If for whatever reason you can’t find the model number of your machine, I’m going to take you through the slight visual differences so you can visually match these lifters with the ones on your machine.
Version 1: Has a bigger hole (three holes from the front) - and a slightly bigger hole (three holes from the back)
Version 2: Has equally sized holes from front to back.
Version 3: Has equally sized holes from front to back - and it also has these three little pips at the front.
All three lifters are available on our website and it’s not that difficult to replace them yourself, just follow our video:
